"Summer of Amber" is the highly anticipated new full-length novel by Naoki Prize-winning speculative fiction author Fukazuki Tsujimura, following "The Lonely City of Mirrors". At a young age, the withdrawn Fako is invited by her classmates to a sleepover at a future school. The future school is called a "school", but it is actually a private organization full of unrealistic idealism, believing that children with sound character and independent intelligence can only be raised in a mountain forest with clear spring water.
