This is the story of a woman who remembers her past to have a present. Of a girl who changes her name to shift the world a tiny bit in her favor and stay alive. Of a 1990s village full of goats and screaming silences, a pelota court for roughhousing, an open-air cinema with chairs from home, a sardine sandwich, a grandmother alone against the world, a cousin with a Walkman, J'Haybers, and the smell of after-sun lotion. And, above all, it's the story of someone who only has a bicycle to escape such a cesspool. A voice of reconciliation, of memory, of reinvention, and of that almost stubborn determination to stay on this tremendous planet that's falling apart but, strange as it may seem, is still our home.

Natalia Moreno (Zaragoza, 1979) es directora, guionista y productora. Formada en artes dramáticas, comenzó su carrera en el teatro y estudió dramaturgia con autores como Juan Mayorga o José Sanchis Sinisterra. Luego fundó Kokoro Films, desde donde desarrolla proyectos cinematográficos que han sido reconocidos con premios como el Goya o el Forqué. Hoy cruza del plano visual a la palabra escrita: su primera novela abre grietas hacia mundos que duelen y sueñan. Que bucean y juegan. Una historia tejida con memorias, heridas y renacimiento.
