National Perspectives on the Global Second World War

This collection of essays, written by authors of different nationalities, explores the experiences of the countries that were not numbered among the Second World War's major belligerents, including colonies, 'lesser' powers, and neutral nation states. Ashley Jackson is Professor of Imperial and Military History at King's College London and a Visiting Fellow at Kellogg College Oxford. He is the author of numerous works on the history of the British Empire, particularly during the Second World War.
