Pallavi is a filmmaker, creative director, communication strategist, and screenwriter. Her journey in the communication world began as a copywriter in 2006, and over the years, she evolved into a creative director. As the co-founder of Hashtag Films, she boasts 18 years of experience in advertising and film, with successful campaigns and ad films under her belt.
In 2020, Pallavi decided to tell a story about gender equality through her debut feature film, 'UnWoman.' It received nominations and selections at international film festivals, and when it hit theatres, it got praised by critics.
Beyond filmmaking, Pallavi has directed TV commercials and documentaries, exploring the diverse landscapes of India. She won the Golden Mikes Award and Best Director at the Merced Queer Film Festival.
'KAALNEMI,' is her debut novel, and is the first part of a planned trilogy.
