"Red Rose Speedway" ist das zweite Studioalbum von Paul McCartney und Wings. Das Album wurde 1973 veröffentlicht. Red Rose Speedway erreichte die Nr. 1 in den Billboard 200 Charts in den USA und "My Love" war in den USA eine Nr. 1 Single und der populärste Track des Albums. Anfang 1972 entschied McCartney Wings mit einem weiteren Gitarrist zu einer fünfköpfigen Band zu erweitern und mit der Gruppe zu touren. Die Gruppe verbrachte mehrere Monate unterwegs in Europa, beginnend mit einer Tour durch britische Universitäten. Die Aufnahmen für Red Rose Speedway begannen im März 1972.
