Paulina Chavira es periodista, asesora lingüística, correctora de estilo y traductora mexicana. Fue editora fundadora de The New York Times en español y la responsable de redactar su manual de estilo. Desde 2019 es correctora de estilo de la revista nexos. También es colaboradora en 'Hoy es Risco', en Radio Fórmula, y en 'Martha Debayle', en W Radio. Es una de las mayores expertas en lenguaje incluyente en México; ha publicado artículos al respecto en El País y Reforma, y ha impartido cursos en el Colegio de México, Google, la International Women's Media Foundation, entre otros.
Paulina Chavira is a Mexican journalist, linguistic advisor, copy editor, and translator. She was the founding editor of The New York Times in Spanish and was responsible for drafting its style guide. Since 2019, she has been a copy editor for Nexos magazine. She also contributes to "Hoy es Risco" on Radio Fórmula and "Martha Debayle" on W Radio. As one of Mexico's leadingexperts in inclusive language, she has published articles on the subject in El País and Reforma, and has taught courses at the Colegio de México, Google, the International Women's Media Foundation, among others.
