La Promesa de Mamá

Un zorrito vive en el campo con su papá. Antes de morir, su mamá les hizo una promesa: siempre los cuidaría. Así que él sabe que, aunque no esté ahí con ellos, la puede encontrar en todo lo que los rodea: en el fuego de la cocina, en el estambre que dejó en casa, en el bosque y, sobre todo, en las estrellas

A little fox lives in the countryside with his dad: Before she died, his mother made them a promise: she would always take care of them. So he knows that, even if she is not there with them, he can find her in everything that surrounds them: in the kitchen fire, in the yarn he left at home, in the forest, and above all, in the stars.

Rodol Pizano Monroy is an author, illustrator, designer and musician. Born in 1984 in Mexico City. He graduated from the Graphic Communication Design program at UAM Azcapotzalco and graduated with a degree in illustration from the Faculty of Arts and Design at UNAM. He was selected for the XXVI FILIJ Catalog of Illustrators and received mention in the XXIX edition of the same catalog. In the XXVII edition of FILIJ's National Poster Contest "Let's invite you to read" he obtained mention and received third place in the XXVIII edition. Currently in his workshop-studio he is dedicated to creation and illustration.
