The term "migration of form" describes a curatorial method that takes aim at the contradictions of the Western museum traditions and the ways exhibitions have been conceived and designed. Roger M. Buergel ist Ausstellungsmacher. Er war künstlerischer Leiter der documenta 12 (2007), kuratierte bedeutende Ausstellungen in Asien, Europa und den USA und war bis 2021 Direktor des Johann Jacobs Museums in Zürich. Sophia Prinz ist Kultursoziologin und Kulturwissenschaftlerin und war bis 2021 wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Johann Jacobs Museum in Zürich. Mit Buergel kuratierte sie Mobile Welten im Hamburger Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe, eine Ausstellung, die von der New York Times zu den 'wichtigsten Ausstellungen 2018' gezählt wurde.
