And every time it happens, people pretend they did not hear it. Helen Weiss, a psychologist working in a psychiatric institute, slowly realizes that madness is no longer confined to her patients. Politicians behave like prophets, journalists resemble malfunctioning machines, and ordinary citizens are trapped in a system built on propaganda, consumerism, and quiet obedience. As Helen drifts from the world of psychology into the machinery of politics, she begins to understand that the real illness of Amia is not insanity—but a society that has learned to live without truth. Borderline Republica is a sharp political satire about power, media, and the fragile line between sanity and madness in the modern world.
