Beschreibung

Twelve stories from one of the most captivating voices in contemporary outdoor literature. Fed by the fertile springs of love and sport, Lost in Wyoming treats readers to a rare taste in literary fiction, the bittersweet pleasures of relationships afield. Men and women, fathers and sons, siblings separated by life's unfathomable tides, the characters in these stories share in the heartfelt tug of wars immediately recognizable in all of our lives.

Portrait

Scott Sadil has been the Angling Editor at Gray’s Sporting Journal for the past six years. He is the author of six previous books, both fiction and nonfiction, that explore fly fishing as a sport, a craft, and a vehicle for meaningful relationships between those with whom we share our waters. Lost in Wyoming, a collection of short stories, was selected as a finalist for the 2011 Ken Kesey Oregon Book Award in fiction. During his career Sadil has written for every significant fly fishing magazine, including twelve years writing the “At the Vise” fly tying column for California Fly Fisher. When he’s not searching for fish, Sadil builds wooden boats at his home in Oregon.
