Desde 1993, Sergio Marchi se convirtió en la sombra de Charly García y de la experiencia surgió No digas nada, una biografía "diversa, divertida y divergente", como Charly le encomendó. This is the book that stoked all others. And also, the myth. Since 1993, Sergio Marchi became Charly García’s shadow, and from that experience Say Nothing emerged, a “different, fun, and divergent” biography, just as Charly commissioned. It was a great adventure in which the author fulfilled unexpected roles: he was confidant, roadie, drummer, very briefly his manager, amateur psychologist, and nurse. He saw everything. He lived through everything. He told almost everything. The book was updated in 2007, a year before García collapsed in Mendoza and before his terrible hospitalizations. Marchi was called back to this environment, which he left before the end of the year. This reprint goes up to the year 2024, and the author pulls away from Charly, adjusting his perspective and dispersing the mist by adding nine new chapters to the seven from the first update. In them, he reveals—often between the lines—a good deal of the mystery from that time in the life of Charly García, undisputed genius of Latin American rock.
