Snaps of Northern Nans Going into Lockdown

The descriptive accounts expressed within this book are fictional, but are drawn from observations of real life and the nuances of individuals who inhabit a world within a Northern town in England. The characters have been created through observation, and reflect a common thread of culture and personal experience. There is humour and pathos. to reflect the rich tapestry of life, spoken through caricatures, who are non-the less valid through their experiences.

I am an artist/writer, working on observations from real life, because that is what counts: the reality. My work can be humorous and serious, because, after all, isn't that what life is about: finding the humour in the serious stuff.
