Includes the most iconic storyboard artwork from the first three "Star Wars" films, offering a rare glimpse into the Lucas film archive. This is the first time that most of this original art has been published, from the opening chase above Tatooine in "A New Hope" to the Battle of Endor in "Return Of The Jedi".

J. W. Rinzler, executive editor at Lucasfilm Ltd., is the author of the New York Times bestsellers The Making of Star Wars and The Making of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. Joe Johnston served as a storyboard and concept artist on the original Star Wars trilogy. He has since directed The Rocketeer, Jumanji and Captain America: The First Avenger.
