Tom Gauld was born in 1976 and grew up in Aberdeenshire. He is the author of the comic books Goliath, You're All Just Jealous of My Jetpack, Mooncop (a New York Times bestseller) and Baking with Kafka (winner of Best Humour Publication at the 2018 Eisner Awards).
