A group of tenants faced with the sale of their building oppose a strong resistance.The destiny of the building at number 19 boulevard Montmartre, between Madeleine and Bastille, near the Grand Rex cinema, the Olympia playhouse, and numerous theaters and bars, is crucial. The General Bank who owns the building has decided to sell and evict all tenants. But a handful of them have decided to stand up to the powerful bank and fight for their building: Karim, the amicable boss of Broadway Boulevards, Manuela who sells sex-toys in the tiny shop in the courtyard, Sacha Bellamy the handsome young man on the fifth floor, Mira the music-loving landlady and Leo Klein the mysterious designer.The building, with its central square courtyard becomes a stage where inhabitants spy on each other through windows, squabble, make love, and hide in the closets.
