Mom has a silk fan with an embroidered cuckoo. She proudly displays it on the most notable spot in the house and treats it as a treasure. Mei is always curious why. One day, Mei accidentally rips the fan. To hide it from Mom, she sneaks the fan under her bed and replaces it with brother's photo. The trick seems to work, and Mom never notices anything different! Will Mom eventually find out? What will Mei do with the ripped fan? And what is the story behind Mom's treasure? Let's follow the traditional Chinese paintbrush and enjoy an affectionate story about Mei, Mom and Grandma's cross-generational love. You will get a glimpse of the traditional art of Chinese embroidery enriched by more than thousands of years' culture.
