The book takes readers on a journey to discover tensors --
powerful mathematical concepts used in many areas of
modern science. Starting from familiar grounds of numbers
and operations with numbers, readers will re-examine
familiar concepts in a new light and then arrive at new
concepts gradually, connecting the dots along the way.

Dr Yury Deshko is an American physicist, educator, and
writer. He is the author of "Special Relativity For Inquiring
Minds'' -- a textbook designed for undergraduate students
and motivated high-schoolers.
When not working on applied physics problems in silicon
photonics, Yury develops and teaches modern physics
courses (Special Relativity and Quantum Physics) in
summer schools for young aspiring physicists.
