After going through several doctors who turn a blind eye to her problem, and trying to seek help among her acquaintances and friends, she manages to get a woman who has been through the same situation to give her an address and lend her the enormous sum of money she will need. Besides the abandonment and discrimination by a society that turns its back on her, there remains the struggle against the profound horror and pain of a clandestine abortion.
