Camila Sosa Villada (1982, La Falda, Córdoba) estudió cuatro años de Comunicación Social y otros cuatro de la licenciatura en Teatro en la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. En 2009 estrenó su primer espectáculo unipersonal, Carnes tolendas, retrato escénico de un travesti. En 2011 protagonizó la película Mía, de Javier van de Couter. En 2012 actuó en la miniserie La viuda de Rafael. En 2014 participó en la obra El bello indiferente, de Jean Cocteau; en 2015 en Despierta, corazón dormido/Frida; en 2016 en Putx madre; y en 2017 en El cabaret de la Difunta Correa y la miniserie La chica que limpia. Es autora del libro de poemas La novia de Sandro (2015-2020), el ensayo El viaje inútil (2018) y las novelas Las malas (2019) y Tesis sobre una domesticación (2019). Por su novela Las malas obtuvo los premios internacionales Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz (2020), Finestres de Narrativa (2020) y el Grand Prix 2021 de l'Héroïne Madame Figaro. Las malas fue considerada una de las mejores novelas publicadas en 2019 y ha sido traducida a más de diez idiomas. In 2009, she premiered her first solo show, Carnes tolendas, a stage portrait of a travesti. In 2011, she starred in the film Mía by Javier van de Couter. In 2012, she appeared in the miniseries La viuda de Rafael. In 2014, she performed in El bello indiferente by Jean Cocteau; in 2015 in Despierta, corazón dormido/Frida; in 2016 in Putx madre; and in 2017 in El cabaret de la Difunta Correa and the miniseries La chica que limpia. She is the author of the poetry collection La novia de Sandro (2015-2020), the essay El viaje inútil (2018), and the novels Las malas (2019) and Tesis sobre una domesticación (2019).
