Gary Jennings nació en Buena Vista (Virginia), Estados Unidos, en 1928. Gary Jennings was born in Buena Vista, Virginia, United States, in 1928. After working for several years in advertising, as a journalist and correspondent in Korea, and finally as a magazine editor, he dedicated himself to literary creation. His first book appeared in 1962, and from then on he published numerous novels and essays, while also contributing articles and stories to various magazines. Known for his rigor and meticulous research, his novels masterfully reconstructed the world of the Aztecs during the years when, under the onslaught of the Spanish conquerors, they suffered a shock from which they could not recover. Among his works are Aztec, Aztec Autumn, Aztec Blood, Aztec Rage, The Journeyer, Spangle, and Raptor. He passed away on February 13, 1999.
