Giuseppe Caputo naciÃ3 en Barranquilla, Colombia, en 1982. Graduado en Escritura Creativa en la Universidad de Nueva York y la Universidad de Iowa, es autor de las novelas Un mundo huÃ(c)rfano (Literatura Random House, 2016) y Estrella madre (Literatura Random House, 2020). La traducciÃ3n de Un mundo huÃ(c)rfano al inglÃ(c)s por cuenta de Juana Adcock y Sophie Hughes recibiÃ3 un English Penn Award. Fue director cultural de la Feria Internacional del Libro de Bogotà (FILBo) entre 2015 y 2018, y es uno de los escritores seleccionados en la lista del Hay Festival Bogotà 39-2017. Actualmente es docente y coordinador de la MaestrÃ-a en Escritura Creativa del Instituto Caro y Cuervo.
