Gwyn Teatro started her career in the mailroom of a large financial institution in Toronto, Ontario. At the tender age of eighteen, her education as a student of human nature was to begin there, as she sat between two middle-aged Scottish veterans, Dave McNeillie and Eddie Killen. There she opened letters and listened to their opinions about the leadership skills of various managers to whom they delivered mail. Dave and Eddie also taught her more than she needed to know about "the language profane." But, over the ensuing years, even that has had its useful moments. Today, Gwyn is a Certified Professional Coach with a Master of Science degree in management. She has spent the bulk of her career as an HR professional in the financial services industry where she coached senior business leaders and groups on leadership, organizational effectiveness, and strategic business planning. Active on social media and an award-winning blogger on HR and leadership trends and issues, Gwyn has learned a lot about building, that is, building relationships, building bridges, building alliances, and building credibility.
