His recent books include "Why Fairy Tales Stick: The Evolution and Relevance of a Genre, "Relentless Progress: The Reconfiguration of Children's Literature, Fairy Tales, and Storytelling," and "The Enchanted Screen: The Unknown History of Fairy-Tale Films."
