Jimmyn Parc is an associate professor at the University of Malaya, Malaysia. His current research centres on the cultural industries of Asia and Europe, particularly films, dramas, and music. He is the author of The Identity and Emergence of K-pop, published in 2025. Stephen Ranger is a research associate at European Centre for International Political Econom (ECIPE) in Brussels and a doctoral researcher at the University of Turku in Finland. With a background in Korean studies, he has written articles on the history of film industries in Asia as well as on contemporary international politics.
