'A brilliant and important book' - Chris van Tulleken 'A smart first step into completely resetting your digital life' - Stylist This book doesn't just outline the problem - it offers practical solutions for you and your family to take back control. In Smartphone Nation, Dr Kaitlyn Regehr, one of the world's leading digital literacy experts, explains why we see what we see on screens; how these technological processes work; and how we can become much more intentional about the ways we use them. This book outlines the way these technologies suggest or promote content, so that you can better understand, advocate, and parent around these issues. From issues of misinformation, body dysmorphia, pornography, to online bullying, this essential guide helps you and your family become more intentional over screen usage - whatever the screen you are using.
