La Tormenta de Nieve / The Snowstorm

Una experiencia personal del propio Tolstói fue la inspiración para La tormenta de nieve, que vio la luz en 1856 en la revista El contemporáneo.
Una ventisca sorprende a un viajero y su cochero en la estepa rusa y les aparta de su camino. Cuando el cochero decide volverse, el viajero se une a una caravana en la que conocerá a una serie de variopintos personajes.
Una obra temprana del gran autor ruso que, en su brevedad, aborda temas como la superación de obstáculos, la vanidad o la búsqueda de reconocimiento.

Zuzanna Celej is an artist who has exhibited her work in Spain, France, England, Poland, and the United States. She has also received numerous national and international awards. Zuzanna is a builder by illustrating and fabricating what has not yet been seen, composing her work on paper and with paper. When she was little, she created countless objects, gadgets, small machines, robots, articulated dolls, models of towns, houses, scenes, and so on, using all kinds of recycled, found, and treasured materials. Today, she continues to build with pencil and paintbrush, inventing incredible worlds and shaping impossible characters. Currently, Zuzanna combines her illustration projects with teaching, leading Fine Arts courses and workshops at art school master's programs. Lev Tolstoy was a Russian author and one of the most important novelists of all time. He is especially known for his two longest works, War and Peace and Anna Karenina, which are unanimously considered masterpieces. The son of a nobleman and a princess, Tolstoy was orphaned at a young age and went to live with aunts, who entrusted his education to private tutors. In his adolescence and youth, Tolstoy gave himself over to the debauchery of St. Petersburg, where he drank relentlessly, played cards, and frequented the company of women. However, after finishing university, he returned to the countryside and there, seeing the extremely harsh living conditions of the peasants, decided to change his life and joined the army. Happily married and now retired to the countryside, Tolstoy wrote his two greatest works. In both, the family plays a special role. In fact, the famous opening of Anna Karenina is particularly memorable: "All happy families are alike, but every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way."
