He completed twenty research and consultancy assignments commissioned by agencies like UNESCO, UNICEF, World Bank, USAID, British Council, COL, etc. Marmar has trained a few thousand Heads of academic institutions from India and more than fifty other countries. He has served in academic leadership positions (as a Head) in two major Indian national institutions, and in international organizations like ICDE and IMAGE.
