Beschreibung

Discover a wellspring of Celtic magic that is vibrantly contemporary yet draws heavily on ancient and mythological texts. Weaving together practices and lore gleaned from Irish, British, Scottish, and Continental Celtic traditions, this book guides you through rituals and deity work that you can apply to healing, empowerment, protection, social justice, and more. Morpheus Ravenna's methods are rooted in the beliefs of multiple gods (polytheism), spirits that dwell in all things (animism), and the hidden but ever-present spirit realm (the Otherworld). Explore Celtic-based practices like divination, sigil work, spirit alliances, and necromancy. You will also learn about spiritual hygiene, protection, and binding. Includes a foreword by River Devora, a multi-traditional spirit worker, healer, and teacher.

Portrait

Morpheus Ravenna (pronouns: Si/Hir) is a genderfluid sorcerer, artist, and writer residing in the East Bay area of California. Si is a dedicant of the Morrigan, with a practice rooted in animism, folk magic, and Celtic polytheism. An initiate of the Anderson Feri tradition of witchcraft, Si has practiced devotional polytheism and the magical arts for over twenty-five years. Si is the author of The Book of the Great Queen and a priest and cofounder of the Coru Cathubodua Priesthood. Morpheus makes hir living as a tattoo artist, and Si creates devotional artworks and sorcerous crafts in a variety of media. Si also practices medieval armored combat and is very fond of spears.
