She is the author of the Love and Virtue trilogy (2019) and the fantasy saga The Extinction of the Elves, whose first book, First Plague, was published in 2021. Deeply drawn to U.S. aesthetics and sports, she brings both passions into this novel, which portrays life in a fictional Utah city in 1985 and the world of college American football--clearly inspired by Shotgun Lovesongs by Nickolas Butler.
