The Special Status of Muhammad

This book examines the special status of the Prophet Mu-ammad, as described by the Cairene Sufi mystic Shih-b al-D-n al-Qas-all-n- (d. 1517). It examines spiritual, material, and theological aspects of love for the Prophet as expressed in his al-Maw-hib al-laduniyya bil-minä al-mu-ammadiyya.

Sigalit Chacham (Ph.D 2021, Bar-Ilan University) is an independent scholar. Her research interests include Sufism, Islamic theology, and the study of emotions in religion.
