Urmi Kothari is the creator and founder of Kinetic Living, a boutique fitness experience that combines movement and awareness to develop the body-mind connect. An MBA and professional dancer, Urmi naturally gravitated towards becoming a fitness trainer and entrepreneur. Over her 25-year journey she has studied multiple disciplines to integrate them in her philosophy. Urmi has trained over 9,000 students. She was Mumbai's first Nike Certified Trainer and is an Apple Fitness+ trainer. Urmi is the recipient of the Global Women Leaders Award from the World Women Leadership Congress (2023) and the Times She UnLTD Entrepreneur Award in the fitness and wellness category (2020).
Urmi lives in Goa, where she founded KshaLa to combine her love for nature and travel with the Kinetic Living philosophy. Along with her team she conducts online classes as well as workshops and retreats all over the world.
