Some of us are able to handle isolation better than others. Cherokee is not the type to handle any isolating situation well, especially when she is off her medication. During her time in captivity, she had a shocking epiphany. Although her far from human boyfriend was keeping her as his personal prisoner, her feelings for him wouldn't shift. She remained deeply infatuated, and loyal to her monstrous captor. She willingly went into his home, but she didn't have a clue in the world that when he asked her to move in with him, her fate had already been predetermined. She was moving in with a blood thirsty killer whether she wanted to or not, and she would be forced to face the monster behind the human meat suit. Her boyfriend, a vile creature from the inner earth was able to detect the darkness that spewed from her pores. Little did he know that her prominent darkness stench stemmed from pure insanity. Cherokee faced hallucinations and delusions on a daily basis, but refused to take her medicine. She was able to manage her outlandish mind when she was around him, but during times of isolation, her mind went completely haywire. Her mind created a hallucination so vivid, that she truly believed it to be real. A figment of her imagination became so real, that she believed that her life was in danger. Cherokee stared into the abyss until she got the idea to turn one of her socks on her feet into a puppet. Her mind would allow her to 'bring it to life', and she would have someone to talk to. The darkness lurking in the back of her twisted unhinged mind wouldn't allow for this new companion to work in her favor. Her sock puppet friend turned into a monster, the sock monster.
