Jose Gil Romero (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 1971) y Goretti Irisarri (Vigo, 1974) son un tándem creativo desde hace más de treinta años. Comenzaron su colaboración en el mundo del guion y la dirección de cortometrajes, labor por la cual han sido galardonados en diversos festivales. Más adelante dieron el salto a la literatura y han publicado novelas de éxito como Caen estrellas fugaces (Suma, 2017) o La traductora (HarperCollins, 2022).
