Paula Gallego nació en San Sebastián en 1995. Es filóloga hispánica y graduada en Magisterio Infantil con el minor de Educación Especial. También tiene un máster en Creación Literaria. Es autora, entre otras, de la serie de fantasía Gaueko (Editorial Puck), que comienza con Todas las criaturas oscuras, y de la bilogía de fantasía distópica Hikari (Editorial Umbriel), cuyo primer volumen se titula Imperio de sombra y tormento. Vive en el norte con su novio y sus tres gatos. Le gustan los monstruos (sobre todo los de buen corazón) y los héroes que no saben que los son. La fuerza del dragón es su primera novela middle grade y da inicio a Crónicas de Lilium, un universo mágico de criaturas a las que solo unos pocos elegidos pueden ver, con primeros romances, fantasía y muchos personajes valientes.
