Several factors must be considered to ensure that humanity is able to feed the world's population in 2050 and beyond.. Less arable land: As cities are growing, the space available for agriculture is shrinking.. Climate change: Dramatic impacts on agribusiness.. Role of agribusiness on GHG emissions.. Planetary boundaries and the role of agribusiness.. Availability of freshwater.. Soil degradation.
