Ο ζωγράφος και το μοντέλο

Στο εδώλιο, κατηγορούμενη για τον φόνο του διεφθαρμένου, μεγαλοδικηγόρου και εραστή της, Μενέλαου Δρακόγλου, βρίσκεται η Βασιλική Κοράλλη. Υποστηρίζει ότι αυτός ήταν ο μόνος τρόπος για να γλιτώσει από τον εκβιασμό που της επέβαλε με αντίτιμο την ίδια την αξιοπρέπεια και την ελευθερία της. Στο πλάι της στέκεται ο ζωγράφος Γιώργος Βερεμής, με τον οποίο την συνδέει ένα ευτυχισμένο παρελθόν αλλά και μίσος πολλών χρόνων.
Ο δημοσιογράφος Νίκος Μιχαηλίδης, ο οποίος έχει ζήσει όλη την ιστορία από κοντά, αναλαμβάνει να μας διηγηθεί όλα όσα προηγήθηκαν της δίκης.
Μια ιστορία που φαινομενικά εστιάζει στον ζωγράφο Γιώργο Βερεμή αλλά το αληθινό της διακύβευμα είναι Βασιλική Κοράλλη και η θέση της ως γυναίκα μέσα στο ασφυκτικό πλαίσιο στο οποίο ζει.

He was born in Australia in 1962. At the age of 8, he moved with his family to Karpathos, an island in the Aegean, the birthplace of his parents. He completed his Primary and High School education there. In 1981 he enrolled in the Pedagogical Academy of Heraklion, from which he graduated after two years. He then worked as a teacher. Since 1999, he has been living and working permanently in Serres, Northern Greece. As he himself states in his first collection of short stories: "Sometimes the mind is filled with images, stories, thoughts, emotions... that want to escape. My outlet is writing!"
