She works with individuals, couples, and youth with a history of trauma. Allison Abrams is a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist practicing in New York City. She completed her postgraduate training at the Contemporary Freudian Society and the Psychoanalytic Association of New York, which is affiliated with NYU Medical School. She is an author and contributing writer for several publications, including Psychology Today, GoodTherapy, and Verywell Mind.
