Agrobiodiversity, School Gardens and Healthy Diets

This book critically assesses the role of agrobiodiversity in school gardens and its contribution to diversifying diets, promoting healthy eating habits and improving nutrition among schoolchildren as well as other benefits relating to climate change adaptation, ecoliteracy and greening school spaces.

Danny Hunter is a senior scientist at Bioversity International. Emilita Monville-Oro is Country Director for the Philippines at the International Institute of Rural Reconstruction (IIRR). Bessie Burgos is the former Programme Head of research and development at the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA). Carmen Nyhria Rogel is a program specialist in research and development at SEARCA. Blesilda Calub is a university researcher at the University of the Philippines Los Baños.
