Alberto Fuguet (Santiago de Chile, 1963) es escritor y cineasta. Estudió periodismo en la Universidad de Chile. Durante su carrera como periodista fue cronista, columnista y crítico de cine. Ha publicado múltiples novelas, entre ellas destacan: Mala onda, Tinta roja, Missing (una investigación), Aeropuestos, No ficción y Sudor. Es autor, además, de Cuentos reunidos, Enrique Alekán, Apuntes autistas, Cinépata, Tránsitos, Todo no es suficiente, Rebalsar la piscina mental, VHS (unas memorias) y Despachos del fin del mundo. Alberto Fuguet (Santiago de Chile, 1963) is a writer and filmmaker. He studied journalism at the University of Chile. During his career as a journalist he was a chronicler, columnist and film critic. He has published multiple novels, among them are: Mala onda (Bad vibes), Tinta roja (Red Ink), Missing (una investigación), Aeropuestos, No ficción (Non-fiction)and Sudor (Sweat). He is also the author of Cuentos reunidos (Collected Stories), Enrique Alekán, Apuntes autistas (Autistic notes), Cinépata, Tránsitos (Transits), Todo no es sufficiente (Everything is not Enough), Rebalsar la piscina mental (Overflowing the Mental Pool), VHS (a memoir) y Despachos del fin del mundo (Dispatches from the End of the World).
