Sus dos hijas, Rosa y Elena, ya no necesitan mucho de ella, pero el menor, Pedro, tiene extrañas obsesiones y sufre mucho. Tamara Tenenbaum You Are Very Quiet Today follows in the footsteps of the narrator in Buenos Aires after the death of her mother and her occasional trips to the provinces to visit her father, who now lives alone in the house where she grew up. The reader sees her in different roles: as a mother of two, a spouse, a daughter, a sister, but also as a child without a mother. Over the years she begins to wonder who she is when she is alone, without having to take care of anyone else, when she stops attending to the needs of the people around her. Remembering her childhood, her relationships with her siblings and her mother, noticing that she is no closer to her father now than she was before she was widowed, she also sees her children grow up. Her two daughters, Rosa and Elena, no longer need much from her, but the youngest, Pedro, has strange obsessions and suffers a lot. Ana Navajas nació en Buenos Aires en 1974 y estudió Ciencias de la Comunicación en la UBA. Es profesora de literatura creativa. Estás muy callada hoy es su primera novela, publicada originalmente en el sello Rosa Iceberg, fundado por Tamara Tenenbaum, Marina Yuszczuk y Emilia Erbetta, y en el que buscan dar lugar a escritoras noveles. Ana Navajas was born in Buenos Aires in 1974 and studied Communication Sciences at the UBA. She is a professor of creative literature. Estás muy callada hoy (You Are Very Quiet Today) is her first novel, originally published by the Rosa Iceberg imprint, founded by Tamara Tenenbaum, Marina Yuszczuk and Emilia Erbetta, and in which they seek to make room for new women writers.
