Originally published in 1963, Skill in Sport was addressed to students and teachers of Physical Education, to coaches interested in the more theoretical aspects of their work, and to all individuals who wished to find out the best ways to acquire skill in any particular game or sport. Psychologists too may have found many of the examples and much of the discussion of interest to them. Practical issues are dealt with first and then the underlying theories are considered.
