LETICIA ORTIZ nació en Linares, aunque en la actualidad reside en Elche. Desde temprana edad tuvo dos claras vocaciones: la química y la escritura. Técnica Superior en Análisis y Control, sus primeras influencias literarias fueron David Safier y Laura Norton. Como ocurre con sus referentes, su estilo es fresco y desenfadado, y se sustenta en gran medida en la fluidez e ingenio de los diálogos. Comenzó a escribir poesía a los trece años, siendo galardonada años después en el certamen provincial 'Federico García Lorca'. La exitosa 'Kika, nada pasa hasta que pasa' fue su primera novela, una comedia romántica en la que desataba su peculiar humor, tan tierno como hilarante, a la que seguiría la también celebrada 'Cariño, devuélveme mi cuerpo'.
