MANUEL ÁNGEL BARBERO nació en Espiel, un pequeño pueblo de la Sierra Morena cordobesa en 1968. En la Universidad Laboral de Córdoba se despertó su amor por la lectura, lo que derivó en su trabajo como bibliotecario. Un trabajo que es a la vez una pasión, y que combina con el otro gran hobby de su vida: las carreras de montaña y de ultrafondo. Lector de todos los palos, si tuviera que quedarse con dos autores que le han marcado destacaría a Miguel Delibes y a Dulce Chacón. Con su primera novela, 'Los días perdidos', logró el Premio Círculo de Lectores 2015, a la que ahora se suma su segunda y deslumbrante obra, 'Todas las promesas del cielo'. Sigue viviendo en el pueblo que le vio nacer, junto a su mujer y sus dos hijos.
