Sally Rooney nació en 1991 en CastlebaR. Es licenciada en Literatura Inglesa y Americana por Trinity College, Dublín, la ciudad donde ahora vive. Ella ganó el Premio Sunday Times / Peters Fraser + Escritor Joven del Año de Dunlop. El trabajo de Sally Rooney ha aparecido en The Dublin Review, The Stinging Fly y Granta.
