"The Social Psychology of Inclusion and Exclusion" examines the psychology of inclusion and exclusion within relationships between individuals, small groups, and large scale social categories such as nationality and ethnicity. Leading international experts in social psychology explore the impact of being excluded on people's emotions, actions, and reactions. They examine the circumstances that surround social exclusion, the conditions that lead people to exclude others from their groups, and ways that the negative impact of social exclusion can be reduced. As well as setting out the latest theories and evidence, the contributors also address the practical and policy implications of their work.
