This is the first book to examine the significance of European Union antitrust law for the future of sport in Europe. Jacob Kornbeck is a Policy Officer in the European Commission and a former member of its Sport Unit (2001-14), where he was involved in the elaboration of the White Paper (COM(2007) 391) and the Communication on Sport (COM(2011) 12). An external Lecturer at the German Sport University in Cologne, Germany (sports management) and the University of Lille, France (sports law), he has published in the fields of sports law and policy, as well as social policy and social work.
