A St. John's graduate with a degree in journalism, he wrote at several Queens weekly papers as well as NYSportsDay.com. He co-authored Tom Gamboa: My Life In Baseball and Rod Gaspar: Miracle Met, and also wrote Fabulous to Futile In Flushing: A Year-by-Year History of the Mets. He lives in Forest Hills, New York.
