Pod uwag- zostäy wzi-te akwedukty, które wybudowano w latach 312 p.n.e. - 226 n.e. Celem pracy jest przedstawienie stanu zachowania i zagospodarowania pozostäöci naziemnych arkad, po których bieg-y akwedukty na terenie miasta Rzymu w zestawieniu z ich stanem pierwotnym w oparciu o opracowania oraz w-asne badania. Praca przedstawia charakterystyk- wszystkich jedenastu g-ównych wodoci-gów miasta Rzymu z uwzgl-dnieniem uproszczonej trasy ich przebiegu, jej d-ugöci i specyfiki, fundatorów, celu lub przyczyn powstania, ewentualnych remontów i modyfikacji oraz ilöci dystrybuowanej wody i procentowego udziäu beneficjentów. Informacje te stanowi- podstaw- do analizy wspó-czesnych pozostäöci akweduktów w granicach administracyjnych miasta Rzym wraz z dok-adnym opisem trasy ich przebiegu uzupe-nionym ikonografi- wspó-czesn- i historyczn-.
[EN] This dissertation aims to present a short history of each of eleven aqueducts that fed the ancient (up to modern) city of Rome with attention to such detail as their course and its length, motive for construction, their founders, renovations or modifications and the volume of water delivered to the city, further redistributed to meet constantly increasing needs and serve specific purposes. The aqueducts depicted in this paper were built between 312 BC - 226 AD with contemporary remains of their aboveground arcade structures being the focus of attention of it.
